Can't play Risen series and a couple other games now because of that error on my new system (i7 8750h cpu and GTX 1060 video card). Looking for a fix.

never mind, reinstalling Windows took care of that.

But now I got another problem with that game: when jumping (pressing the space bar), the game freezes and the only way to get out of this, is using the task manager.
Any suggestions?
