If the person responsible for the installer would someday alter either the installer for the "DOS Rise of the Triad" or the new "Rise of the Triad" so that installing those two at the same time will no longer replace the desktop icon of the first installation with the desktop icon of the last installed game (because both are called "Rise of the Triad") ... that would be great! :)

Ditto on this. It's kind of confusing. Why not just, by default, put a '2013' suffix on the new game's shortcuts and directories?

The directory names are ok, they are different: "The Rise of the Triad" vs. "Rise of the Triad" :-P

Yeah, but a suffix like "DOS" for the original or "2013" for the remake will do nicely.
