I downloaded the extra files, but how do you load them with the GOG version of ROTT?
I have no idea how you do it,and have tried the usual techinques,running setup, etc.
Someone said you have to change the WAD files, how do you do that.
I know I have the files unzipped in the ROTT directory, but the game does not reconizine them. It always loads the standard "The Dark War" files.

run setup
select run modified stuff
select single player levels
ensure the level file you want loaded has a check mark next to it.
back out to the main screen and select save and run rott.
you have to run setup every time you want to use a different RTL file. ROTT will load darkwar if you click on the game icon but save game slots will load the correct level file. the only level files that do stick are the combatt levels single player games will normally load the dark war set unless setup tells it to use a different file.

this did NOT help and somehow KILLED sound in game and made my windows mouse a bunch of Lines...

Use WinROTT and run it from there.
