I've bought the game last Year directly from Ludeon site. Will there be chance, to migrate the Game from there to GoG?
The sendowl distribution works, but is somewhat horrible :D

Or getting it from GOG Connect would be nice too.

This is the only thing holding me back from getting the expansion anywhere. I'd prefer to have the whole thing on GoG, but not sure I'm willing to pay twice for it.

I actually just bought the game and expansion on Steam a few days ago. So I'm kind of annoyed, as if I knew it was going to be on GoG, I'd have gotten it here.

Please say we can get the GoG Connect link going for this one.

My wife and me would like to migrate from Ludeon, too.
Ludeon was very cooperative regarding Steam, providing you with a Steam Key together with your version on Ludeon.
Maybe the guys from Ludeon will give us also a GOG-Key?
I have no complaints about Ludeon, SendOwl has worked flawlessly for me so far, but also having it on GOG feels a bit more "complete".

I've resisted getting the steam key for this game because I vastly prefer to own games not-on-steam. If this does become available I will happily migrate RimWorld into my GOG library! I imagine it might not be available right away, but I hope it comes some day. Very happy to see this game on GOG!

I've seen several developers stating that GOG doesn't allow them to give out GOG keys for purchases that have any connection to Steam.
