So far it has been released for Android in Korea and New Zealand, can't read the information on the site, but it seems like its a lot of content from the main game, seems like theres new cars. Not sure what is new or whats going to be happening with this.

I have good hopes at least. The mobile version of the original game seems decent.
Not so hopeful myself. Looking at the screenshots, the game seem to contain levels which are essentially from the original game except new textures. I wonder if the mobile version allow you to install custom user content though, that would be a plus in my book (since original Re-Volt allow you to do that as well). The new cars look like they are from the dreamcast version so not exactly new (as far as I know).

For those of you who look forward to it though, enjoy! ^--^
"Phone calls
read phone status and identity"

Yeah, I don't think so buddy.
No way. Also, isn't it suspicious that WeGo has no points of contact?
Don't bother with this. WeGo is singlehandedly responsible for the pulling of the game from GOG and shouldn't be supported. They deserve nothing for causing this grief in the community.

I played it, and its okay, runs better on my tablet. The issue is, that it is ALWAYS online. You cannot play it offline.
This sounds about as bad as RollerCoaster Tycoon or Dungeon Keeper for mobile.

Except current Atari or EA even has more credibility than WeGo.
A sequel was released years ago on the PS2 by Acclaim.

Thats not a sequel but a spinoff (to be precise, its a port of the spinoff which was originally released on the PS1). If I remember correctly it was originally meant to be a sequel (and was even referred to as Re-Volt 2 in early development stages) but that changed over time, hence the different name.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re-Volt <- first paragraph

Besides that, it has worse graphics and phyics and a completely different style than the original game. The only major "advantage" is that you are also able to drive with RC boats (and can even dynamically switch in some levels between boat and car, like in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed).

Yeah but for all intents and purposes, it is a sequel.
