Hi everyone.

I bought this game and tried it out, but it would crash as soon as it entered a white starting screen. No error message at all, just went back to desktop. Tried as admin adn compatibility with XP SP3 too.

I tried around several options in config.ini and found out that the game only starts if I would set full screen to 0. So right now the options in my config.ini are:

[OPTION]
MIXING=S
SAVE=1
SPEED=-1
SUBTITLE=1
AMBIENT=100
SFX=100
VOICE=100

bUseHardware=1
bUse32BitsSprites=1
bUse32BitsScreen=1
bFullScreen=0
bScreenResolution=2
dataset=2
nProfiles=1
nVolume=100
bSoftBilinear=0
bCenterMouse = 1
LOC=US

Does anyone have any ideas for the game to run in full screen? The windowed mode is just too small to make it enjoyable.

Thanks and Regards!

You should provide more information about your system (hrdware, OS, etc.) in order to get help.

That said you might try setting bUseHardware to 0, but honestly this is a shot in the dark.
Considering that the game runs in windowed mode, I suspect that your hardware cannot correctly display the game fullscreen resolution which is, as far as I know, locked to 1024x768.

Another possible solution is to try using dgVoodoo2 as a graphics API wrapper.
Installation instructions:
- Download the latest release from here and extract the archive;
- Enter the MS\x86 directory and then copy the D3D8.dll, D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll files;
- Paste these files into the game installation folder (where the game executable is);
- (OPTIONAL) Run the included dgVoodooCpl program in order to configure the wrapper's settings.

This is superb, man! Thanks a lot, it worked nicely and at first attempt, even when I didn't help by forgetting to mention anything about my system!

Thanks a lot and Kind Regards!

EDIT: By it worked, I mean the API wrapper!
