Hi guys,

Just wanted to inform you that the latest and greatest version of RCR is now live on GOG.com!

This version adds the "ROM City Rampage" mode that's available at Nolan's Arcade or Doc Choc's house.

I love the game and I'm jazzed about any updates but I'm afraid I don't get this one. What am I supposed to be looking at? I get the "go here and find it" thing but what IS the "Rom City Rampage" mode?

The author started the project in 2002 by making a NES version of GTA 3. That NES ROM is included in the newest version of the game in an NES emulator. With all GTA references stripped out.

So bascially it strips the game of all the blood and sex and replaces it with Link?

I don't know what's the replacement, but he stripped the GTA references out pretty recently so he could release it, so it could be released without fear from Rockstar. And I don't think that he wants to piss off Nintendo because he released the game with the ROM on WiiWare yesterday (in the US at least)
But a GTA/Zelda Parody would be nice.
