Currently Retro City Rampage DX will only launch without using Galaxy. If I do try and launch Retro City Rampage with Galaxy the error that is featured in the screenshot will occur. I am wondering how I can fix this launching issue as it has only happened on Windows 10, not Windows 8.1 which I had been using before capitalizing on the free upgrade to Windows 10.

I hate to post a non-solution on such an old post, but I'm posting this to illustrate the point that this has not been fixed two years later! Even with the updated DX version, I am glad that at least we aren't mandated to have a third-party app to run the game, which is why a fix is most likely not coming!

It's fine, I just got this game on Steam instead, as that version isn't broken at all by launching issues.

Actually, you can't lose by that method as worst comes to worse if you lose your Internet, you still have the permanent gog version!

Steam has offline mode that is fairly robust, so losing connection doesn't bother the Steam Client all that much. It's just losing the Steam account that would hurt more than anything. As all my purchases would go up in a poof of smoke!

I lost my internet connection during the econ-crash and a few games had bad installs/needed to be updated, and I was effectively locked out for 5 years...But yeah, losing your account is much worse especially if someone hacked your account!
