I am trying to continue playing resonance in linux using my windows save game files but i can't find where in linux are the save files located.

Can anyone tell me where are the save files located on linux ?
This question / problem has been solved by spegeimage
I have not tried myself, but I suppose that Resonance uses the AGS (Adventure Game Studio) port for Linux and I am not sure that the Windows' savegames are fully compatible with this port.
Anyway, if I am correct, try to look in /home/$username$/.ags/$gamename$ folder.

If you'll get some compatibility issue, you could try to run the game under Wine, avoiding the Linux port: in this case you have to put the savegames into Wine's fake C: drive, at the same location they are on Windows.

I don't know if the saves are compatible.
My saves are located are located at /home/my_user/.local/share/Resonance/

Find is your friend:

$ find /home/your_username -name "[R,r]esonance"

Hope this helps!

Using a save file from OS X worked on Linux.
