They updated today.

Not sure if it was in reaction to your post or not, but the timing makes it seem likely, so thanks for posting about this issue.

yeah, it was probably because of that, as I also mentioned their lack of gog support on steam.

however, the game is still a mess and not the least bit recommendable. horrible controls and ui, crashes without autosaves, etc. there's manual saving and I normally spam it just in case but I was just trying to figure stuff out when a crash happened and next time I was put back to the very beginning, character selection and all. would be unacceptable in early access, let alone a full release patched a bunch of times (elsewhere) over the years.
Well I really like the game, just tried it and while it's no action title it's gripping in its own way. Perhaps transportative is a better adjective. It's relaxing and meditative in a way which reminds me of FTL, although totally different from that game. Anyway, big thanks and appreciation to the developer for bringing the game to parity with current Steam builds!
The game now seems to be on version 1.3.7 at GOG, which is not bad at all.

what are you appreciating exactly? that is literally their job and they were not doing it FOR YEARS until I called them out on steam because they don't care one bit about other platforms. at least here they can't spam ads for their other games just because you're following the ones you're interested in. or were interested in.
