Whether it's the game installed originally or with this patch, I sometimes have this bug which requires inserting the DVD.

But I prefer the RE3 SN system, which does not ask for this key at each startup.

That's the exact reason, but I might update the patch to remove that DRM, which becomes useless with this rerelease.

Is anyone else having an issue with the Seamless HD crashing during the opening FMV, arriving outside the Police Station and several other points. Driving me crazy, I've tried applying the Large Address Aware 4GB memory option and nothing. Idk if it's the Teamx mod or the Seamless HD that's making the game crash

Question, installed classic rebirth and sourcemod with seemless HD and re 2HD by team x, on two different pc's.

One windows 10 and one windows 11. W10 allows me to access the specials while W11 doesnt. The specials are allways greyed out on W11 and i was curious as to if anyone else has gotten access to the specials? i have been trying to get the hunk mode etc on my W11 pc but it allways has the specials greyed out and i was simply curious as to if anyone else ever got the specials to work when using these mods in general or on windows 11 using the GoG installer ?

Side note the game is installed in japanese on GoG

Heh, I need to fix the code that pulls those values from registry and just go with whatever should be defaults.

Ahh this works haha thank you Nechigawara, to be fair i had only recently started playing the first one so i didnt get round to completing the second one yet but still wierd on my W10 pc specials are unlocked and i simply thought i had messed up the install.

Gemini it would be handy to remove that as default but i think already the work you done on the RE games has been brilliant and long may it continue.

Cant wait for RE3 in just over a month i hope.

Alot of older player with minimal pc and or modding knowledge are trying to implement the mods and i quote you but there is also a few others that help around here, might there be a way to set up the mods with a click and go installer to the root directory over the current way of drag and drop to have a more friendly and easier experience for novices who wish to play the game with mods ?

I stress i am not asking or demanding it was just a thought to help people get the best experience of the game even if they have limited pc knowledge and i am also aware that there is different people involved with the different mods but i thought id pose the question to a possibility before the last game becomes available in mid October.

On the other hand, it's a shame that in the Classic REbirth version, there is no choice to stretch the image like in the GOG version. I know some people don't like it, but I like being given a choice.

Hey, I'm trying to get this all set up.

I have gotten to a point where I have Rebirth and HD audio running but I can't use my controller?

Using a Dualsense controller, when looking in the Rebirth setup, the raw input drop down shows Sony DualSense but game crashes on launch when using this.

I use Steam to handle desktop input when I use the controller (so I can control the PC with controller when no game is playing) this means ideally I'd like to launch the game.exe through Steam so that it switches the controller to game inputs instead.

RE1 Rebirth works when doing this as it is being recognised as an Xbox 360 controller but nothing appears in RE2 Rebirth?
