RE1 FMV cutscenes run at 10 FPS, but that's how the PC version ran anyway when it came out.

Hello, had the same problem what helped me was in the codec tweak tool under general / fixes unchecking detect and remove broken VFM/ACM codecs

I have a similar problem, but instead of entire screen being black only a porion of the fmv is displayed (see image). Funnily enough it depends on resolution- in 320x280 only the top left quarter of the video is visible. the screenshot is 640x480 scaled 4x. Higher resolutions give similar result. Whats even more wierd is that on my old 1080p tv that I had hooked up to the pc in 640x480 videos worked fine. After I replaced the tv with a 4k screen it shows as You can se below.

Would be nice if someone from GOG took a look at this. You can't really call the game fully compatible with modern systems with issues like that.
