can anyone give me a step by step guide on how to properly set it up I'm not very good with pc so you will have to dumb it down for me so i wont mess it up.

1. Install RE2
2. Download the Unofficial SourceNext 1.1.0 conversion patch for RE2 Windows 95-98
2a. Download and install something like WinRAR to open .zip files if you haven't already
3. Go to the Resident Evil 2 installation directory
3a. Open GOG Galaxy > Installed > Right-click RE2 > Manage Installation > Show Folder in order to find it if you don't know where it is
4. Use WinRAR (or whatever you have) to extract the conversion patch files somewhere convenient
5. Open the "SourceNext 1.1.0" folder which you extracted and place all of the files/folders within it into the RE2 installation directory
6. Open the "RE2 Classic REbirth" folder which you extracted and place the "ddraw.dll" file into the RE2 installation directory
7. Double-click re2.exe to open the CONFIGURATION window
8. Adjust the settings as you see fit
9. Copy/paste the the CD key from the "CD-KEY.txt" file you extracted into the the Install Key window under Misc
10. Hit "OK"

it is either .exe whichever you want to load, but you need to overwrite them with the right one from the same zip file. you can find them inside in "Compatibilité_Launcher_.exe" folder and then your country. put those into you main directory and overwrite them, then you can start one of them and the config menu will popup
