When I last played this game a few months ago, the only way to load a game (mid-game) is to completely quit out of the program or die. There's not even any buttons to bring up the main menu. And I know that this wasn't the case when RE:3 came out decades ago.

No, you can't go back to the main menu in RE3 in any way if you already started playing it. The only option is to quit the game completely. By the way, on PC this was always the case with Resident Evil 3, even when the game came out originally. There was never an option for it. Outside of that, the color of the blood is still messed up, and the character models are still morphing in and out like crazy. I hope all of this will get fixed in the future.
