Booting up the game, the controls seem to work fine, but once I've installed the Rebirrth exe, neither the keyboard nor controller works. I've shut off steam in case it was interfering but no such luck there. i've seen other people repot this, but I haven't seen a solution. Is there anything I can do?

Edit: sometimes it also just says "abnormal program termination" and then crashes.
