First of all, I think that's fantastic that this game has achievements on GOG Galaxy.
Second, they are not only useless but very frustrating when they don't unlock no matter what you do.
Bellow I will add a list of achievements that didn't unlock for me, although they should:
Tiny Exposition - Collect five unique treasures in your collection and Ambitious Exposition - Collect 25 unique treasures in your collection, even if I have unlocked Renowned Exposition - Collect 50 unique treasures in your collection.
Biscuits and Mockery - Charles Templeton led a crew to beat Rivaleux and become the worlds most Renowned Explorer.
Bucket of Essays - Write five research papers in a single campaign.
Chronicles Mastery - Complete all research papers in the Chronicles project.
Cultures Mastery - Complete all research papers in the Cultures project.
Every Nook and Cranny - A successful expedition to 11 unique locations
Experienced Capitalist/Diplomat/Researcher - Earn over 5000/5000/2000 units of gold/status/research in a single game
Tyrant Tycoon - Whispers of your aggressive attitude and riches spread quickly at the Most Renowned Explorer Coronation.
Grasshopper - The Renowned Explorers society was pleased by your proof of skill.
Highland Pursuit - Your (un)holy quest for the Abbes in the Highlands was a success!
Loud and Clear, Snake Charmer, Strike, Out! - Defeat Amir/Cassandra/Tommy in Shangri-La. I've beaten each of them five times, no luck...
Make up the Rear - Five entourage members eagerly follow and support your adventures.
Punch-Out! - Reach an Aggressive reputation level of 3.
Peace Maker - Reach a Friendly reputation level of 3.
Research Mastery - Complete all research papers in a single project.
Saxon Kings - Your expedition uncovered the legacy of the Saxon Grave!
Scrooge - Rumors of your devious attitude and riches spread quickly at the Most Renowned Explorer Coronation.
Survival of the Fittest - Make it to the Most Renowned Explorer Coronation with an all-fighter crew.
Talk the talk - Make it to the Most Renowned Explorer Coronation with an all-speaker crew.
The Most Legendary Explorer - Earn 5000 Renown and reach the top of The Most Legendary Explorer chart.
Transylvanian Trouble - Your expedition to creepy Transylvania was a success!
World Famous - Earn over 3000 renown in a single game.
As you can see, they are not only the 6-7 ones they are confirmed to be buggy by Abbey Games.
I hope this will be fixed soon.
