I can' t get this game to launch. I recieve an error that says "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect". I have no idea what this error means and was wondering if anybody else has had this problem?

Nevermind. I solved the problem, I just had to install an old service pack.

For those who might happen here looking for the answer as I did, what was necessary in the end was the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package. I had to download the x86 32bit version in order to fix the problem.
