When go to play the game it loads fine. But when I get to the game screen the character says his line and he supposed to draw the pistol the sfx confirms that but nothing happens after that. I tried messing with the graphics setup that the installer creates as well as the Screen mode in the game's configuration file. But no dice there. any Ideas on whats wrong here.

1gb of ram
Win Xp pro.

Try running the game in admin mode and check your graphics drivers.
Which service pack of WinXp are you using?

Im using Service Pack 3

I have version 94.24 of the forceware drivers. and im going to try reinstalling the game.

Forceware....is that Nvidia or ATI??? What is the date of those drivers?

Those are Nvidia based drivers but Reinstalling the game did the trick. I guess messing with the dosbox config files for each game messed something up.
