Hi all.
I'm new but as a PC old games fan I think I'll be a "constant" client and forum visitor =)
I'd just have two answers:
- is the Redneck Rampage Series that are for sale in GOG adapted for windows XP?
- does it includes the "mods" files and programs (Build, Editart, Kextract, etc)?
Allow me to wish good luck for GOG and to apologize for any use of bad grammar or spealing mistakes since I'm not from any english language country.
Well first of all, Welcome.
Try to read the topics already created to see if the questions haven't already been asked. :P
- RR:R and every game on GOG is adapted on XP and Vista. If you have any troubles the forums are here for your help! :)
- The modding tools are not included, as they weren't originally included in the retail game. Though you can get them elsewere, they're free.
Also remember that every moddable game present on gog has a stickied topic about some of its mods... check the forum!
They use dosbox on this and some of the other games to provide XP support. The good news is that the tedious task of configuring it is already done.
My mistake, sorry.
I should've searched on the forum before, although I had already read most of the Redneck related posts (the most recent at least). I had also read the XP support statement but reading in those posts about so many people using DosBox (which I already use) made me think...
My bad, of course.. =)
But, since all the configuration is done and the game comes with all it's sequels it's a real cool product proposal.
About the Mod/Tc support software I aready own an old standard retail copy of Redneck Rampage Rides Again which includes a "Goodies" folder with Build, Editart and more. My question was only because some of these "Goodies" software, if I recall, still need to be run in Dos or in a Dos Emulator.
Thank you, DukeNico and awilliams, for the answers and for the patience, of course, for answering questions that seemed to be answered already.
An' boys! I wish ya all a good ol' gamin'! YyYYaaaah! =)
Hm well there isn't Goodies folder in the RR directory. Sorry :(
Woops nevermind. Oh I got my first -1 :>
