and... well...
how the heck did i ever get good playing with this weird limitations! you don't as much as move the mouse sideways... you can't see crap... enemies dont even flinch when you hit them... you have only two options - duck, or shoot. you can't avoid their fire by cleverly sneaking up on them, because they always know where you are... you don't really have any idea of what to do or where to go.... you get dizzy from running from one place to the other.... the world looks like big blocks of ugly "color"...
and yet, i distinctly remember playing shadow warrior really well, duke 3d super well, and i really enjoyed myself. i was really good at doom, and super good at doom ii. my god, i wasted so much brain power that i could have used to become a lawyer or a doctor by now... !
so, at least, wish fulfilled. i got my redneck game (in spades). is it the fun filled adventure i thought it might be? nope, not even close. sure, the game is funny, but i'm going blind playing it and my hands are about to turn into claws.
that is, until i go get the cheat codes. then i'm just going to enjoy wandering about, blasting and enjoying the scenery. =)
3 stars for cool wander about game, -2 because its ugly as sin (duke 3d was way better looking) and because the gameplay is horrid.. until you cheat!
either that, or i'm just too old for these games at 30yro....
