My issue is I can't seem to get the dosbox (included with GOG installation) to really use a copy of the "Redneck Rampage" folder I copied for modding purposes

I'd like to have one RR to stay "vanilla" with at least another for modding

Did you create a new shortcut and alter the dosbox .conf files (plural)?

thank you, I didn't realize the conf files were making it look in the original location.
