Hey folks, just thought I'd drop a note here for anyone who happens to be reading these forums...
Over at the FactionFiles RF Community Discord, we've been hosting regular "Red Faction Game Night" events for the past 3.5 years, and today we're celebrating our 100th event!
Whether you've been playing Red Faction multiplayer since 2001 or hadn't known the game even had multiplayer until today, everyone's invited to Game Night!
Here are some quick links for additional information:
1. Join the Discord - This is where RF Game Night, as well other community activities such as matchmaking and mod development, are organized.
2. Download Dash Faction - The de facto standard patch for the game. Community-made, open source. Fixes tons of bugs and adds modern functionality (like widescreen support and anti-aliasing).
3. RFGN 100 Map Pack - Map pack for today's 100th event. You can download it ahead of time, or use the level autodownload functionality in Dash Faction to download levels when you join the server.
If you have any questions, please feel free to jump on the Discord and ask. Today's event starts at 3:00PM EST, and subsequent Game Night events run every second Saturday at the same time.
