I downloaded this onto an older computer that wasnt connected to the internet ( i connected to the internet to download on the gog downloader) and has outdated security. Then, a couple months later, started getting blue screens! One time i tried unplugging my pc and i was able to log on where it read that the system had recovered from a fatal error with the file that red baron was in. Do i risk downloading it on an up to date machine? Could i have read something wrong? Thanks~ oldaviator137

Are you asking if the blue screen problem you had on that older computer was caused by a virus in the red baron pack ? I'd say no. The blue screen may have been caused by other outdated software. outdated drivers or even outdated componenst of the OS since i take it we're talking about a PC that usually is not connected to the internet and thus not kept uptodate
As for the virus issue, It may be that the outdated security suite you mentioned detected a false positive in some of RB's files, even current security suites do that sometimes - specially with older games.
In any case, i think you can download and install the game to the uptodate machine without concern, if there was anything wrong in the installer it would surely have been reported by now.
