Even though I lack the requisite skills to dig into the workings of a game program, I do enjoy trying to figure out (in general terms) how they work. An extremely tough German pilot just gave me a new clue. I mean, this guy was tough. We flew a Jul 18 mission in the morning and he was maimed. Four hours later, he was leading another mission. After the third (and last) mission of the day, a message arrived saying he had been replaced due to being medically unfit. So, apparently the trigger is not the end of a mission, but the change of date. If I could mod, I might be able to change that (then again, since I am clueless in that arena, maybe not :) ). Makes no difference in game play - just a smile.

Getting 2 missions in a say is a rare occurrence. I have never received three missions in a single day without manipulating the game myself. But yes, the change of date is the trigger. else you would be getting new replacements on the very same day /next mission.

Wailwulf: I've been getting 2-3 missions per day routinely as a German pilot in late spring/summer 1918. Often, the very next day has missions too. I thought that proper since by then the Germans had lost the air war and were being flooded by constant enemy missions. Been very outnumbered a lot too. Wondering if this is another HASP thing.
