pzrshrek: Ok, i never learned hex editing, but if i had, i probably would have doen the same hehe
A follow up if anyone reads, i have some problem with stuttering while planes on screen gets more than 2-3, i wonder how i can eliminate it, i have watched videos of dogfigting at youtube with no stuttering and i think my system should be able to handle this? (gtx470)
No matter what settings i try, this is not changeable..
My setup is as follows:
rb2+3dsuperpatch+hasp+hasp_sp3+plpl2
glider dvoodo1.50beta2
Any hints or suggestions are very much appreciable, thanks!
I'm taking some stabs here - more brainstorming - as this is not an area I'm good at. Are you emulating Win 98? Some games are driven too fast by modern computers - it is possible to run a dual core (and I suppose a quad core) as a single core. Not having the GOG slowdown (there are others available free) program previously mentioned may cause this (I would think) depending on your computer. Also, the screen refresh rate might be set to 60 as default and that can generally be set to optimize on a graphics card (well, it can on mine, an ATI HD3600 series - I suspect strongly that gaming cards can do this too. As I said, I'm guessing but maybe one of these would help.
BTW, there is a later update to HASP/SP3 called RNAS-6. I couldn't get it to work but many have had no problems with it. It is more of a challenge as the planes are more realistically flown and machine guns are slowed down to realistic fire rates (due to firing through a propeller).
