I noticed that the version of the first Red Baron is the 16-color one. If we're paying this much, why couldn't we have gotten the full 256 color version? =/ Or at least be told how to change modes if 256 color mode's present.

There is no option in the install program when first running the program? We may have the 16-color version. It should be the 256 as that was released in 1990, we may be able to get better graphics using the Tandy option on a different dosbox such as dosbox staging.

the version sold on gog is the VGA version, you are confusing the version sold here with the EGA or 16 Color version that was released for free on the internet some time ago.
