Hello all,

I bought this game on Steam and have put many hours into it. One of the reasons I stopped playing was because there didn't seem to be any benefit of crafting the best gear (at least I think it's crafted...can't exactly remember). I recall that I had one of the most powerful weapons and it barely did any more damage than the previous upgrade, despite the considerable amount of time it took me to get it. So this issue, combined with the relatively repetitive nature of the item selling (not that it's a dull system, it just gets old after a while), I stopped playing.

My question to you all is if you had the same experience or not, or perhaps if you know whether the game has been patched to make it a little more balanced. Thanks for reading
How far did you get through the game?

I'm currently on my 5th loop collecting yet another adventure's True Card. I've barely scratched the surface of the fusion system and I've completed 4 dungeons.

I've yet to get bored.

I wish I could remember...I feel that I beat the 'main' story and had the last dungeon on farm, although not with all characters
By last dungeon do you mean the 4th? (ObsidianTower - think I've spelt that right)

My understanding is that there is a 5th dungeon, but to open it you need to collect all the adventurer's True Cards. Then, the girl with green hair sets you upon a new quest and the 5th dungeon unlocks.

Apparently, the unfolding story in Recettear comes to fruition whilst exploring this dungeon.

One of the reasons I'm continuing to play is to see what story emerges once that 5th dungeon unlocks.

Sorry if i am a bit late but by 5th dungeon you mean Lapis Ruins?
No you don't need true cards for it,you just need to play endless mode, beat obsidian tower, get all bussines cards except the green haired girl(probably meaning Arma. You really don't need all true cards for this and i haven't found any info about getting all true cards unlocking yet another dungeon.
