I still have to try the feature but it's there.

I haven't used it yet only because it has also in-game radio stations that have plenty of good songs so you aren't limited to the ambient music.

Though consider this is a very different game, more a remake of Wing Commander Privateer gameplay-wise so it controls and feels very differently.
