Realms of Arkania III: Shadows over Riva runs in DOSBox, so it should be simple to get it running in Linux... but there's a few things you'll have to keep in mind.
1) Run the GOG installer either under Windows or WINE to extract the files
2) Edit the 'mount' commands in dosbox_realms3_single.conf to point to the right files and directories (including switching the slashes from \ to /) This is relevant as the default DOSBox ascends up one directly to find the files.
3) Edit game.ins to have the correct casing for files and folders. 'MUSIC' is not the same as 'Music' and 'Track04.OGG' is not the same as 'track04.OGG' (This took me a long time to find.)
4) Edit the 'output' command in dosbox_realms3.conf to use surface
Then you should be able to open a terminal, go to the directory, and run it with:
dosbox -conf dosbox_realms3.conf -conf dosbox_realms3_single.conf
