Hi All,
I absolutely loved Star Trail when it first came out, but I couldn't find part one anywhere back then. It's awesome that GOG is reviving these classics and I can finally get the entire story. I wonder if they'll be adding the third part of the trilogy, Shadows Over Riva, at some point.
Take heart, for they surely will.
LOL. Ah, but were I a wiser and more thorough man! Thank you for that. :) My day is now complete.
Unfortunately, Riva lacks the most interesting (at least for me) element of the predecessors: travel. While you'll change the scenery quite often, it's always the same city and its surroundings. It never struck me as the huge world which "Das Schwarze Auge" (the underlying Pen & Paper system) has.

You should sell the three games together in one pack!
true, but they make more money selling them separately :)
I don't really mind cause its cheap, but yeah its odd they don't come together as a trilogy.. marketing rules I suppose.
Obviously, they will most likely sell the games in a pack at SOME point (as a weekend promo or something similar). Makes more sense from a business standpoint to pick up a lot of potential customers at three separate occasions (the release of ROA1+2, the release of ROA3 and finally the release of ROA1-3 pack) rather than just two...

Wow, so I always wanted to play this game. I payed for it and downloaded it, spent about 3 hours tricking out my party and then.....the loading screen. That's all I get. The silly orc jumping over the sheep over and over and over and over again. What's up?! Is there a patch or something?

I had the same problem. It seems to be solved by running the program as an administrator (right-click on icon, choose "Run as Administrator", etc.) Good luck.
Yeah, thats right, I had that too and running as administator solves it.
