I thought I'd once seen a list of the effects a particular deity gave your character, but I've had no luck searching for it. Is my memory at fault? The RoA1 manual implies it may have some small benefit, and as bonuses are bonuses... I'd like to know what they are. Especially since the game gave my dwarf what seems to be a totally inappropriate deity. :)
So if there is a list, can someone point me to it?

The 3 Games convert the original P&P source very closely, and that is why alot of things are not applicable, just there. Altough When you pray at tempel you may get a blessing which varies with the different gods. Rondra Goddess of War will bless the first characters weapon, Rajah Goddess of Love will give you a charisma bonus and so on. Technicly you have to be living a life worthy of the God to recieve a bonus. Also you only get them rarlely. I think the way they assign Gods are based on their birthday. That how it was in the original P&P.

Thanks, that clears it up for me.
No Problem man.
Characters get a little bonus from their deity at creation.
Praios grants 1 extra courage, an attribute useful for combat, skill and spell checks.
Tsa grants 1 extra charisma, an attribute unimportant for combat, but useful for skill and spell checks.
Rondra grants 1 extra skillpoint in swords, which is useful for your warrior to wield the blade of destiny once you've found it in RoA1 or for anyone wielding a sword.
Firun grants an 1 extra skill point in missile weapons and 1 in track, useful for archers (usually green or elves).
The other deities only grant 1 or 2 skill points in not so important skills which won't make a noteworthy difference.
When praying in a temple you have a higher success chance if one of your party members belongs to its deity.
