Hey all!

Rayman forever is giving me a very very poor framerate, as well as number of sound issues when running in full screen, despite running very crisp and perfect in a window.

I'm running an i7 w/ a 1g radeon 5870 so i'm sure its just a silly driver or setting issue, any info would be great!

Just to update, i am playing w/ a wireless 360 gamepad using the wireless received for pc, in case there are any known issues w/ that.

what worked for me was going into the Rayman dosbox config (just open dosboxrayman.conf in rayman forever/rayman with notepad) and change output=surface to output=opengl . I also changed scaling=2x to scaling=none, since it's not really necessary if you play fullscreen.

Let me know if that helped!
perfect, runs wonderfully now despite quite a bit of screen tearing, thank you kindly.

Bit of a beginner here but I am having similar issues and I am unfamiliar with "Rayman Dosbox". Could you explain to me how to do this or point me in a direction where I can figure it out? Thanks!

Hello i know this might be weird considering that post you sent like 4 years ago but i got the solution for you just like UP
so first of all go to Start on the down-left and click on all programs and click on GOG.com click on Rayman Forever and go to tools and click on Graphic mode setup. now you will see the DOSBox configurator program opened
then you will see Graphic mode: choose it from surface into OpenGL then go to advanced settings next to the basic settings button and in the scaling engine make it none.
i hope i made it more simple than it looks and for your game to run smoothly and goody.
Peace.
Edit: it didnt work for me but i hope it works for yall.
