Im having a problem with Rayman 2.
Especially in some places, when i press the jump button Rayman wont jump, he will just go to helicopter mode from the first press on the jump button. This is a problem since the helicopter and jump button is the same one, when i try to jump he should do a jump from the first click and go to helicopter mode from the second click. But he will just go to helicopter mode from the first one, and if i click again he will stop helicopter mode and fall down in water/lava.
It has taken me several hours sometimes to get from one save to the next save, first i just thought i was bad at game and did something wrong but now i find that most problems I have are because of this jump bug. I watched walktrough and other people are able to jump on the first click and change to helicopter on the next click in the places where i am not able to. I also thought maybe its because of the controller I use but i tried no controller and the bug is still there. I also tried clicking very fast but it does not help.
Most of the time the jump button works right but in the worst places it will work right just like 1/10 of the time. This makes it impossible to complete some levels since i will die so much i will have to start level from beginning before completing it. I am now in the Cave of Bad Dreams and it seems to be impossible to complete. There are so many places where the bug occures almost all of the times and also on the other places it will occure some of the time. The distances I should jump in this level are bigger than in the beginning so i am not able to reach the place i should when rayman just makes a "helicopter drop" (he just jumps down from cliff with helicopter mode on without getting any height to the jump).. Also, there was one trick i used earlier that worked some of the time, i "trained Rayman to jump" by jumping on place, just up and down, just before making the real jump from cliff to cliff. But now, after the beginning of the game, i am not able to do this on the most problematic places, since there are so many places I have to jump off right away, like "cliffs" that will go down or sink under the lava if you dont make the jump off them soon enough.
I didn't find any information about this bug online. Is anyone else having it or does anyone have any idea what I could do to fix it? Thank you!!
