Hello, I just bought Rayman Forever and downloaded it via gog downloader. When I try to install it, setups says "An error occurred while trying to rename a file in destination directory:
c:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Rayman Forever\RayKit\MAPPER.EXE
MoveFile failed; code 2."

How can I fix this?

Thank you!

Well, it didn't, but i solved the problem by not installing world editor. Game itself is working all fine now.
Have you considered disabling UAC ? I found that having this disabled stopped many installation issues others had on my PC.
bump

still haven't gotten it to work...grrrr
Try running the installer as an administrator and/or installing it somewhere outside of Program Files.

^ Did you even try this ? If that does not work, disable your Anti-Virus software while installing the game.

I've done the adminstrator thing (UAC), I've installed it outside Program Files, and i've disabled my anti-virus program. Still no success :(

Hmmm, when you say "administrator thing", what exactly do you mean by that ? Do you mean you used the "Run as Administrator" link when right clicking the shortcut or what ?
Yes sorry, I guess I wasn't really being technical.

I've installed it in program files (win 7), I've installed it in another location (win 7), I've run in on an XP machine. i've re-dl the game 4 times using the gog downloader. I've run as Admin. I've disabled the UAC. i've uninstalled my anti-virus and repeated steps 1,2,5 afterwards.

So far, this is the only gog game that has had this particular error and I have 70+ games. Usually someone smarter than me on the forums figures out what's going on and the only fail was The Manhole on Win7 (got it for friend's kid when he comes over but now he's too old for it and would rather play HOMM3). Suggestions on getting this kid hooked on this awesome platformer?
I can't think of anything else I'm afraid. Sorry! :(
Hey, the trick to make Rayman run is just to manually switch off all the additional stuff when installing the game, except the game itself and dosbox. Had the exact same problem as you, turning off my anti-virus programme and using the admin mode did not work. But now everything is fine :-) Hope this helps
