How do I disable cloud saves for Rayman Forever?

Whenever I try to modify an existing level in rayman designer, it saves changes to the wrong directory under:
GOG Games\Rayman Forever\cloud_saves

The mapper saves changes to the correct directory under:
GOG Games\Rayman Forever\RayKit

Essentially, when making a level, there are two separate save locations that do not overlap. This means it's basically impossible to create levels.

This can be fixed somewhat easily by copying saves back and forth between the two folders, but it's really inconvenient, and prone to errors. I don't want to keep doing that.
Earlier versions of Rayman Forever downloaded from GOG didn't have this problem. The changelog says that cloud saves were added in an update on 21st March 2019.

All the solutions online tell me to change the options on GOG galaxy, but I'm using the offline version of Rayman Forever. I don't even have galaxy installed.
Out of curiosity, I downloaded galaxy to see if I could fix the problem there, but it was pointless. Since I hadn't installed it with galaxy, there was no way to modify the offline installer.

Is there a way to disable this stupid cloud save 'feature'?

Failing that, is there any way to download an older version of the installer which doesn't have this problem?
