Hey, I'm relatively new to GOG but I was recently sent Rayman Forever as a gift but when I try to install it I get this message:

An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
C:\Program Files\GOG.com\Rayman Forever\RayKit\OSD\STARTUP.EXE

MoveFile failed; code 2.
The system cannot find the file specified.

Not sure how I remedy this, any suggestions?

If you are on Vista or Win7 instead of double clicking the installer right click on it and chose 'Run as Admin'

If that alone doesn't solve it you could also try to temporarily disable your Anti Virus since apparently some AV suites are flagging false positives wiht some of Rayman's files. If you do, don't forget to re-enable your AV once the game is installed.

Ahh yes!

I'm on XP and taking the AV off worked. Thanks a bundle!
I have exactly the same error on Windows 7 64 bits. I´ve tried running as admin and putting the setup on other folders, and I haven´t got any antivirus installed, but it fails exactly at the same point.

I´ve managed to install part of it by unchecking Rayman Designer, but that´s one of the best parts of Rayman Forever :)

Any ideas on what could I do? It fails exactly on the same file, so there must be a way around it...
It won't let me right click to set as admin

I had the exactly same issue, but after I closed F-secure through Processes in Task Manager I had no such error afterwards. So yes, it was also an anti-virus which was blocking the installer for me here.

Later today F-secure popped up and told me Raykit.exe was a trojan too, but as it has already been stated by the GOG Staff that it's all false positives, I have now left out the Rayman Forever folder from realtime scans.
