So uh, hi.

I've recently bought this game on sale so I could remind myself how good it felt back when I played it years ago.
Of course, to enhance my experience as well as make it compatible enough, I also downloaded the Better Rayman 3 Patch.

My screen resolution is 1920x1080 and the Patch supports it, but for some odd reason there were three of the same options in the settings.

Anyway, yatta yatta, I set the resolution and other options and start the game... It works for sure, but the resolution isn't right at all. I can't really read what resolution it is, but I can tell that it's certainly smaller than my screen.

Just to be sure, I also tried the other 2 options for the same screen res (which I still don't understand why there's 3 of the same one), but neither of them work, so I'm kind of stuck and the forums are my last hope.

Anyone knows why is that, the issue and why there's 3 of the same res options?

thank

I don't know exactly how the patch works, but I'd imagine there are 3 because your screen supports different display modes (different color depths/refresh rate). Since the patch only sets the resolution it shouldn't matter.

Can you show a screenshot of how the game looks? Also, if you check the ubi.ini file under C:\Windows\Ubisoft, what does it say for resolution under Rayman 3?
The ini file clearly states that the game runs at 1920x1080... Just found out that the real resolution the game is using is 1280x960.

Does the same issue occur without the patch installed? Also, check the ubi.ini file under %LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Windows\Ubisoft. Sometimes Windows redirects the program there.

Yes, the game ran with 1280x960 before and after I installed the patch.
Also, I just said before that ubi.ini made it perfectly clear that the game runs with 1920x1080 when it really doesn't.
I even sent a picture.
I realize that, but I only asked about the first ubi.ini file. There are 2 of them for Rayman 3 and the one which is used depends on the app privileges. That's why I wanted to see if the second one was fine too.
