I am not computer savvy and i would like for someone to walk me through changing the 'whatever it is' thing i need to do so i can save pilot. You can only imagine how much this sucks without being able to save. This game is pretty tough.

1. uninstall the game.
2. reinstall somewhere OTHER than the PROGRAM FILES (X86) directory.
that way you won't have the issues of not having permission to save.

In general, there's less fuss and muss with GOG games if you don't install in the PROGRAM FILES (X86) directory. You can make it work that way but there are so many complaints - why bother?
