Hey gang, pretty much as the subject title suggests; on start-up I'm ticking the "HQ Filter" box but when I'm in the game, the graphics are still old school. No complaints there, love the look, just wouldn't mind seeing what a bit of spit-polish can do :)

Any tips?
The HQ doesn't actually do that much just smooths some edges and gives it a bit of a painted look.

Have a look at the screenshots on the game page they are from the HQ version.

Ah yeah I realise that, I've played it with the box ticked and unticked but the graphics are the same; print-screen side-by-side comparison.

Not really a big issue, just wondering if anyone else has encountered it and if a solution is abound

Based on your posts, I gather you were expecting new or updated graphics in Raptor? If so, unfortunately I think you're going to be disappointed.

The "enhanced graphics" advertised are high quality magnifiers, designed to make the original graphics larger without compromising quality, but not new graphics at all. You can see examples of different HQ filters on the DOSBOX wiki. The scaler included with Raptor is the "hq" one shown on the bottom left.
