For anyone that has been unable to figure out why their game crashes on startup. Look no further because I have spent the past 4 hours of my life finding the solution. No matter what wrapper or compatibility settings i tried it still crashed, i even tried to install the old audio codec in the error message. None of that was the key. THE REAL KEY was to run the regs file in the game folder. When it ran initially there were a bunch of errors i didnt see. This was the problem. The errors were from reg not being recognized as a command. If you too suffer from this issue then do yourself a favor and add the system32 path to your environment variables. Your brain will thank you. eeeeuuuuuughgashohdfaslk

When offering a solution, it's a good idea to do a list in layman's terms without using esoteric slang. This way folks who are unfamiliar with those terms can follow along. :D

game has too many fixes for some; this command may help for adding the path as Admin: setx /M PATH "%PATH%;C:\Windows\System32"
