ok so i play, i grind some find to climb the ### karma ladder, then i play a bit, then i feel like stop playing.
exit

reload / relaunch game => surprise, your karma ladder went down.
But the food is gone, everything else has been saved.

Okayyyyy.
Who designed this ? :)
i'm feeling more and more to give the worst review rating if all of this karma climb is not evolved into something OK.
You have one week , devs, then , bad review
The only time it's safe to quit is when you're given the option to exit/continue on the sleep/death screen. I'm guessing the reason is because otherwise you could just exit the game to avoid the penalty for dying.

Wow, you weren't kidding!

For the record, I like the Karma system. It makes me feel like my actions have weight, and encourages me to go exploring and re-familiarise myself with the surroundings before bashing my head on a brick wall.

That's one of the things that has turned me from a casually interested observer, to a fan, to an unabashed fanboy: there's accepted, sensible best practices in hardcore gaming, and then there's this. It feels like the game was designed just for me, the majority of other gamers be damned! I can't blame a single person for hating it (or not hating it, but lamenting a "lost opportunity"), but to me, the game is almost goddamned perfect.

I'm not that far through it, but I've enjoyed every moment of it. In fact, it's starting to feel a mite easy at the moment, and I'm looking forward to pressing into some new areas to ramp up the difficulty!
