Just got this game half an hour ago, in that time it's crashed three times. There's never any lag or anything leading up to the crash, the game just suddenly shuts down and I get that old totally-uninformative 'raidenlegacy.exe has stopped working' box. Happened once each during three of the different games-- Raiden, Raiden Fighters, and Raiden Fighters: Jet. I'm running Windows 7 64bit, plenty of RAM and processor speed and gpu and all that jazz. Any ideas?
I'm having the same problem. the game's crashing to the point of being unplayable. I'm really disappointed in in thies release.
I have to leave for a movie soon, but would you guys mind giving your complete system specs? maybe that might help find a common cause,

but some things to try:
Make sure your drivers are up to date.
make sure directx is up to date.
try turning off your virus scanner
or maybe scanning for a virus.
Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit

Processor: AMD FX-4100 Quad Core 3.6 Ghz

Memory: 8 GB Ram

Display device: AMD Radeon HD 6670
Go through standard troubleshooting

1. Make sure everything is up-to date Video Card Drivers, DirectX sound card drivers.
2. run a virus scan, and a spyware scan.
3. try reinstalling the game.
thanks, sadly no luck.
Windows 7 Professional 64bit, AMD FX-8150 8-core 3.61ghz, 16gb RAM, nVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti with version 314.22 drivers (most current). Tried reinstalling, tried running virus scan and turning virus scan off, no dice. I can usually play up until about mid-way through the second stage of a given game before the crash, if that's any indication of how long it takes (five minutes maybe?)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Intel Core i7 CPU 920 2.67 GHz
4 GB RAM
NVidia GeForce GTX 470 with latest drivers (314.22)
DirectX runtime version 11.0

I don't even get routine crashes, the game crashes while starting. I've tried redownloading, reinstalling, running in compatibility mode, running as administrator, disabling antivirus, running virus scan, etc. I'd been installing on my E: since my C: is a fairly small solid state drive that I usually only run system software on, but installing on the C: didn't seem to make a difference either.

Maybe I'll try playing around with graphic settings for the game. Not sure what else it could be. I seem to be able to play all the wav an ogg files so it doesn't seem to be sound related.
I have the same problem.
I also have a Logitech G15 Keyboard which displays CPU and RAM usage.
The game seems to have a memory issue.
At start-up the memory starts at 28% (about 2GB) Standard for my system.
As the game progresses the memory usage increased at a steady rate until it reaches 57% then freezes.
I've tried different virtual memory settings, and nothing works.

Game sucks. Wasted 10 bucks!

MAME is so much better.
Unfortunately, yes. Raiden Legacy does crash, a lot. Usually after selecting a game. Or changing something under "video options" and hitting "back". At least, it does for me on WinXP.
