I finally found my quest for glory 1 sav file. I want to export it to QFG3. I copy and try to paste it into the QFG3 folder, but it does not work.

Whats more is if I copy (as in copy and try to paste) the quest1.sav file opens Left 4 Dead 2. If I double click on the save file, it opens L4D2.

Any idea how I can fix this and export my game to QFG3?

l4d 1 and 2 use the sav function for addons so that's why the assosication exists. Put the .sav (not .sg) in the qfg3 and not in any sub folder then try importing. You could also launch the folder through dosbox, import the character. Save normally and then reload through the exe and load your game and you should have the character that way.

edit: Also some bugs could be caused by skipping qfg2 as the import files are different. I know it's possible to import from 1-3 but I don't reccomend skipping 2vga.
