Just posting about this little gem here incase some don't know of its existance.
Despite being 4½ it doesnt have anything to do with Shadows of Darkness. The story is you go to the Hero's Guild reunion only to discover you've become a laughing stock over the job you did in Spielburg in QFG1 (things have turned to for the worse since you left). So you go back to make things right again.

The main drawcard of this game is the humour.
It's funny to see what happens to the characters after you left, and also it makes fun of Sierra adventure games in general. Just a warning though it can be very adult orientated humour.
It's also got a good story and is a nice little adventure.
The only downside is it seems to be incomplete and has some bugs. It's been a few years since I played it so unfortunetly I cant recall all of them to warn you, but I remember the poker minigame automactily crashing (you dont NEED to play it though).
And also there is no sfx.

Thats the link to the windows version. I recommed you try it out!

Remember to run setup.bat first and choose the highest resolution or play in a window.
Ahh, the awefully satirical black sheep fo the QFG fan games!

Actually the only references it has to do with QFG4 are a few references to events of the previous game (see Baba Yaga/Bonehead), and the game's ending puts him in position to head to the fifth game... The whole premise is that the Hero is pulled to yet another detour from reaching Silmaria, LOL...

Beware though, beware, the game is got some rather colorful situations...

I don't know what you mean about 'no sfx'? There should be at least music.

Also there are some tricks that need to be done to make the game playable.

"The rare Windows version will not install on modern computers without creating a workaround. To get the windows version to work, create a shortcut to QFG4.EXE, and add the line "--setup" at the end of the shortcut's Target field. This will load up the graphics and sound setup window. On modern machines switch the graphics to 640 x 480. For best results play in full screen mode. Once you have changed the settings then you can use the QFG4.EXE to enter the game."

ill check it out. thanks for the link.
Ah yes I managed to play through this game as a Fighter some time back, won with full points even. I'm amazed that I put up with the game as long as I did considering it crashes damn well every other screen you enter. Funny game though, if very much on the juvenile side, and the Coyote Ugly reference definitely hasn't aged well!

I bring up some other QFG fan games in that thread if anyone is interested.
