Just got Quest for Glory series. Everything plays fine except for Quest for Glory 5. If I pick the introduction screen, it is completely black. I get the audio, just no video.

So far, it seems to play fine otherwise, and the start of the game proceeds apace. However, if it is blacked out on the introduction screen, it may do so later on.

I say this is very strange... I have no problems with the video.

Do you have any more information on your system specs and settings?

Something got corrupted in download. I re-downloaded the thing, and installed it, and seems to be working fine. Thank you for your help, though.

For those whose system seems to freeze (no audio, etc), I found that avast was running a "Deepscan" whenever I launched Qfg5.exe, though I couldn't see the notification due to the resolution change. This was crashing the application and most of the time causing the computer to freeze as well.
