Playing as a fighter, successfully imported from QFG1 (thanks to the forum). Got all the way to the end game, but cannot progress. You're supposed to jump from a balcony to fight Khaveen (the Captain before the last room). When I do, however, he says "So! The would-be hero who thinks he can fight. You're not worth my time and effort." He calls in three guards, Djinni cries that Iblis is released, and death results. I don't even get the chance to fight him. Any ideas?

A couple of possibilities. You are missing your shield. If so you might need to cheet to give you another.

...or you are likely a hybrid fighter, who finished WIT and became a 'Wizard'.... and the game is detecting your magic abilities, and glitching up, thinking you are a magic user.

In this case, cast "Calm", and you'll be able to get by Khaveen.

Also remember Magic, may effect which ending sequence you have to take as well. You may be forced into the magic path, rather than the fighter path (you won't be able to kick the candle).

I was missing my shield; I had dropped it at the beginning of the game since I didn't really have a use for it... until now! Thank you!
