On the third night of meeting Harami I'm supposed to be able to tell him about Rakeesh. However the dialogue is the same as the second night ("tell about mission"). Does anybody know what I need to trigger to be able to tell him about Rakeesh?
Attached some screenshots in case it helps jog anybody's memories.

I think I know what's the problem - it's a bug with the timer. You can find the correct patch to fix this here.

Either that did it or it just spontaneously fixed itself. :D
Thank you. I didn't realize there was an unofficial patch, too.
For another issue, I don't think the points lists for this game are accurate, or the game is bugged. Oh well.
I think its impossible to get full points in QFG3, IIRC?

Yeah, I've remembered that the points don't add up and after looking around this seems to be it - only the Fighter is able to get full points (and more).

Some people say that some of the points are bugged, some that there aren't just enough of them - going by one of the points lists it looks like there aren't enough of them. You could try counting them all manually at the official Sierra point list to confirm which one of those two is it if you're interested.

The only time I've ever gotten (more than) 500 points in QFG3 was by starting as a fighter and ending as a paladin. I think the points are bugged.
They aren't bugged, they just don't add up to 500 for the (pure) fighter, wizard, or thief. The point lists released way back confirmed that.
I know this is basically almost a year old to the day, but I wanted to add my thoughts:

I think Harami's more likely to advance his dialogue if you go to the second screen of the world map (with the pool of peace and the Simbani Village). It triggers something that updates his coding or something like that.
One other possibility (since I know this catches a lot of people): while clicking the "talk" icon on an NPC is the intuitive thing to do, and allows you to ask them about various things, you can also click it on yourself to greet or tell them about various things.

While that is a problem sometimes, it's not the problem here. Harami doesn't advance to the next "day" of dialogue until you've left the Tarna screen of the world map and come back. So click the mouth on yourself all you want, it still won't come up until you've gotten to the third "day" of dialogue.
