I have had consistent problems launching DOSBox games through the shortcuts on the Desktop. After playing a game once, resetting my computer, and then trying to launch again; I get a few boxes to flicker and then the screen goes back to the desktop. This happens with QFG3 and QFG4 and sometimes with GK2 Beast Within. Any thoughts?

Run the graphic mode setup program (should be in the same start menu folder as the game itself) and try different modes than the original. I believe GOG sets it to overlay or surface by default. Try the other one, try DDraw, etc. - hopefully one will work better for you.

I have tried every setting and the same thing happens. When I change the graphic mode it also ends with a message saying that the program was not installed correctly. Not sure how that could be since I just followed the GOG installer...
