Alright. I did a trial run on QFG1VGA in about an hour and ended with 503/500 points as a thief. On SierraHelp.com, I copied the items listed under the points section into an spreadsheet and added the totals, and the total at the bottom of that page is off by one, which puts 503 as the maximum score possible thanks to the Meeps scroll giving 4 no matter what.

The problem is that the Thief would only be able to get 499, because getting the Detect Magic scroll is 4 points. Is this a glitch, or am I missing a point?...

I remember getting 500 points as a thief without using the Meep glitch.

I also remember managing to get 499 as a Magic User and not being able to find that last darn point.

And now I am utterly, utterly confused too.

Check my 100% speedrun attempt (posted earlier today). I didn't see any missed points. :/ It would be a 1 point miss, which is USUALLY forgetting to talk to someone, but I've quadruple checked.

I have no idea. :/

Will check and report back. :) YOU ARE CORRECT, SIR! I checked one of my saves near the end, went and grabbed a few extra mushrooms, and that is in fact the missing point.
