There were several points throughout the games that were affected by later CPU speeds being too fast and causing the game's scripting to fall out of sync (including under DOSBox emulation)

There were some fan made patches to the script files that fixed a lot of these issues available from different places on the web (one set available here: http://reocities.com/belzorash/)

Does the GOG version include something like these patches already or is it a straight release of the Quest for Glory anthology versions?

Can these patches still be applied to the GOG version?

According to Collector over at Sierra Help Pages, they contacted him about getting in touch with NewRisingSun, so I'd say they probably include his patches...

Since you use DOSBox to play the games, timing issues are no longer, uh, an issue.

These were only required back when you wanted to play the games directly in windows - which is no longer possible anyway.

And there is also the possibility to use ScummVM to play parts 1 to 3 and that doesn't require any patches.
Bazilisek checked this out and yes, the NRS patches are already applied for all three VGA games.

That's brilliant! Thanks for posting the link!

I think it's time to be a hero once again...
The in-game Speed Slider is not attached to the Antwerp Maze puzzle. Which I consider to still be a "bug".

Am I the only person who can't solve the ppuzzle without being able to slow it down ??
